TIRUPATI (Andhra Pradesh), Jan 5 : Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Monday said that proposals have been sent to the chief secretaries of several states seeking land allocation for the construction of Sri Venkateswara temples in their respective capitals.
Reviewing departmental activities with senior TTD officials here, Singhal directed officials to actively pursue the matter by coordinating with state authorities.
He asked them to hold discussions with officials regarding land allocation in the Guwahati and Belgaum regions.
The TTD Executive Officer also instructed officials to coordinate with District Collectors for identifying suitable land for the construction of Sri Venkateswara temples in agency (tribal) areas of Andhra Pradesh.
During the meeting, Singhal also reviewed the progress of various TTD departments, including education, medical, legal, forest and engineering wings, and issued instructions to ensure timely execution of ongoing activities.
TTD JEO V. Veerabrahmam, CVSO K.V. Murali Krishna, and other officials participated in the meeting.
