JAMMU, Jan 3: Prior to the formal takeover of bypassed stretches of old NH-44 (Udhampur-Ramban Section), Public Works (R&B) Department has constituted a committee to conduct a joint inspection of the bypassed stretches.
Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) Department, Chenab Zone; Superintending Engineer, Udhampur-Ramban Circle; Executive Engineer, PWD Division Udhampur/Ramban; Superintending Engineer (RSAC), DIQC, J&K and representative of the Regional Officer (RO), NHAI, Jammu are members of the committee.
They shall jointly inspect the bypassed stretches and submit a detailed inspection report along with specific recommendations, indicating the further action required, if any, for consideration of the competent authority.
