SAMBA, Jan 1: All J&K Sadh Guru Kabir Sabha laid down the Foundation Stone for Kabir Bhawan at Kabir Nagar, Dyansar, Bari Brahmana.
It shows a significant cultural and spiritual landmark that will honor the legacy of the legendary saint Kabir Dass ji. The Foundation Stone ceremony will be marking the beginning of a transformative project that aims to create a holistic center for spiritual learning, cultural preservation and community engagement.
The Kabir Bhawan is envisioned as a multi-faceted hub that will serve as a place for spiritual discourse, art, music and education, inspired by the teachings of Kabir and the broader tradition of Sant Seva. The project is a tribute to the philosophical and spiritual legacy of Kabir, who emphasized equality, devotion and the unity of all religions.
Prominent persons present on the occasion were former minister Mula Ram, J L Bhagat (Retired DC), Shamsher Chand (president, All J&K Sadh Guru Kabir Sabha), Janak Raj (general secretary, All J&K Sadh Guru Kabir Sabha), Tarsem Bhagat and Jagga Ram.
