JAMMU, Jan 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has modified an earlier order related to the constitution of Divisional Level Committees formed in connection with a suo moto writ petition on the issue of stray dogs.
As per a Government order issued today, the Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu/Kashmir has been designated as the Member Secretary of the respective Divisional Level Committees in place of the Commissioners of Jammu and Srinagar Municipal Corporations.
The Municipal Commissioners will, however, continue to remain members of the concerned committees.
