UDHAMPUR, Dec 31: A pedestrian was knocked to death by a speeding motorcycle near Mini Stadium Udhampur, here today.
The deceased was identified as Des Raj (45), son of Duni Chand, resident of Bharat Nagar Udhampur. He was hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK14L-1198.
After the accident, motorcyclist fled the spot leaving behind his bike. Some locals took the victim to District Hospital Udhampur where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Udhampur Police have registered the case in this connection.
