JAMMU, Dec 30: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today organised a protest rally against traffic problems in the city.
The rally was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple who said that traffic jams throughout the day along with movement of VIPs have caused a mess in the city. Dimple demanded construction of a flyover from KC Chowk to Rehari Chungi up to Manda.
He also demanded construction of exclusive four way circular road and starting of Metro train services from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur High Court, Roopnagar, Bantalab up to Akhnoor.
The MSJK leader said that he will intensify protests against traffic problems if situation not improved.
He said that traffic cops while standing on the roads remain busy in clicking photos for e-challans rather than clearing jams.
Rupesh Bhat, Sachin Soi, Satpal, Bharat Bhushan. Sameer Gupta, Ashok Kumar, Narender Sharma, Biloo Pahalwan, Kala Singh, Vijay Virdi, Deepak, Ricky Bhasin and many others were also present in the protest rally.
