JAMMU, Dec 29: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department has ordered large-scale transfers and postings of Principals and assignment of charge of Principals to senior-most Associate Professors across Government Degree Colleges in the Union Territory.
As per the order, 18 Principals have been shuffled, including Kulvinder Kour, Principal, Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura, who has been transferred and posted as Principal, Government Degree College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Savi Behl, Principal, Government Degree College for Women, Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Principal, GDC Paloura while Sunil Gupta, Principal Govt Degree College, Basohli, has been transferred and posted as Principal SPMR College of Commerce.
Further, 63 senior most Associate Professors have been assigned the charge of Principals in the Government degree Colleges, with immediate effect.
