JAMMU, Dec 28: A contractor from Punjab’s Gurdaspur district was arrested from Chand Nagar area here today after he allegedly used a toy gun to scare the staff of a hotel in the locality.
A brick klin contractor, identified as Keshav Mahajan, who is resident of Gurdaspur district in Punjab, and works in Jammu, was arrested after the staff of Hotel Lakhan in Chand Nagar locality complained that he was threatening them using a toy gun, a police official said.
“The accused has been arrested and further investigation has been set into motion,” he said.
No FIR had been lodged in the case when this report was filed.
