KISHTWAR, Dec 27: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma today reviewed the progress of digitization of Jamabandi and the implementation of modern land records management system in the district under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to conduct thorough verification of physical land records with the corresponding digital entries to identify and rectify discrepancies, thereby enhancing the overall quality and reliability of the data. “The digitization process must be completed in a time-bound manner,” he said and reiterated that accurate and updated land records are critical for governance and citizen convenience. He directed all stakeholders to work in coordination to ensure the successful implementation of the programme in Kishtwar.
The meeting was attended by ADC, Pawan Kotwal; ACR Idrees lone; SDM Marwah, Dr Mohammad Ashraf; Tehsildar Kishtwar, Nirbhay Sharma, Tehsildar Mughal Maidan besides other Officers.
