JAMMU, Dec 26: P L Raina Sudeshi has been re-elected unopposed new president of the All Displaced Kashmiri United Forum (ADKUF the elections of which were held here, today.
Sudeshi is a well known social worker dedicated to the cause of the displaced community for the last more than three decades. Earlier existing management community was dissolved soon after holding elections were announced.
Oath taking ceremony was also held by the newly elected President. Gathering was informed that the rest of the management team will be announced soon. Dignitaries who addressed the gathering are Prof GL Koul, P N Raina outgoing Chief Advisor and general secretary of Forum Dr Dileep Pandita, Rajiv Pandita Ravi Ji Jogi, Shoki Lidoo and ML Malla
Proceedings began with reciting Vedic mantras the function was closed with reciting national anthem. PK Raina well known artist and Radio announcer conducted the proceedings Satish Raina, MK Koul and SK Raina were the event managers.
Election was held under the supervision of Bharat Bhushan Raina Returning Officer. He was assisted by Anil Bhan and Naveen Ji Handoo.
