UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: Udhampur Police arrested a notorious drug peddler near Circular Road and recovered 6.45 grams of heroin from his possession.
A patrolling party of Police Station Udhampur apprehended the accused, who was identified as Rafiq, son of Bansi of Kud, Tehsil Chenani, Udhampur District, presently putting up at Jojrian Talab, Udhampur. During his personal search, one transparent polypack containing 6.45 grams heroin was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 429/2025 U/S 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation of the case is underway.
