JAMMU, Dec 25: Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed they have arrested one individual from Lower Gadigarh area here and recovered 7.25 grams of heroin-like substance from his possession.
During naka checking at Lower Gadigarh, a suspected individual was stopped for checking by a party of Police Post Gadigarh, a police official said.
When put to search, police recovered 7.25 grams of heroin-like substance form his possession, he said.
Accordingly, the accused, identified as Harjinder Singh alias Kaka of Chak Jandr, Arnia, RS Pura at present TCP Kharjan, District Jammu, was arrested and booked in case FIR number 245/2025 registered under sections 8/21/22/27(A) at Police Station Satwari and further investigation taken up, the police official added.
