SAMBA, Dec 25: Another suspect has been arrested from Katli village in Samba, located near the Maheshwar military area.
The army caught hold of the youth, who was loitering near the military area, for questioning. During the investigation, a Pakistani mobile number was found on his mobile phone, after which the police arrested him. He is currently being interrogated.
The arrested accused has been identified as Sarfaraz (33), a resident of Village Soandha, Nonath Ghagwal. Police is investigating that why he was loitering near the military area. It is noteworthy that on December 20, the police had also arrested a man named Tanveer Ahmed from Diyani village. Several Pakistani numbers were also found on his mobile phone, and the investigation is still ongoing. In light of this, the police and security agencies have become vigilant, trying to determine how many people have Pakistani numbers on their mobile phones and whether they have any connection to the Pakistani Army, ISI, or other security personnel. Both individuals are currently in police custody, and investigations are going on.
