JKDFA organizes ‘Pashudhan Awareness Camp – 2025’

AKHNOOR, Dec 25: The Jammu & Kashmir Dairy Farmers Association (JKDFA) today organized the Pashudhan Awareness Camp – 2025, under the chairmanship of Narinder Singh Bhau and presidentship of Sandeep Singh Chib.
The programme witnessed an overwhelming response with participation of around 400 dairy farmers from various parts of the region, reflecting the growing awareness and unity among dairy farmers of Jammu & Kashmir.
The camp was graced by Sanjay Gupta, Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu, as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta elaborated in detail on various government schemes for dairy farmers, focusing on financial assistance, animal health services, breed improvement and livelihood enhancement.
He encouraged farmers to avail the benefits of these schemes and assured full departmental cooperation.
LDOs Zafar Iqbal and Vinay Vishal also addressed the farmers and explained the schemes and their practical benefits, including procedures for availing them.
An interactive session was held during which farmers openly shared their issues and received guidance directly from the department officials, strengthening farmer–department coordination.
The proceedings were conducted by Inderjit Singh Salathia, spokesperson, JKDFA.
Among others who attended the camp included Rashpal Singh Choudhary, Vikas Joly, Joginder Singh, Jasvinder Singh Saini, Balwinder Singh, Keher Singh, Rochak Sharma, Balbir Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Balbir Kumar, Nitin Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Rajinder Singh Laadi, Devender Singh Chib and Amit Kumar.
The association reaffirmed its commitment to continue working relentlessly for the welfare, awareness and empowerment of dairy farmers across Jammu & Kashmir.
