JAMMU, Dec 25: Reaffirming his commitment to people-centric development, MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa today started the long-pending lane and drain work in Ward No. 5 of the Cantonment Board along with Bharat Bhushan, Member Cantonment Board, in the presence of local dignitaries and officials. A large gathering of residents witnessed the commencement of the work.
The lane had been in a very poor condition for several years, causing severe inconvenience to the locals, particularly during the rainy season. Addressing the gathering, the MLA said that strengthening basic civic infrastructure and improving sanitation and connectivity remain his top priorities. He assured the people that all genuine public demands would be addressed on priority.
The MLA further said that such development works are aimed at providing durable infrastructure and long-term relief to the residents. He reiterated that no lane or ward in the Bahu constituency would be left unattended and that public welfare and development remain the cornerstone of his vision for the area.
