UDHAMPUR, Dec 23: District Development Council Chairman Udhampur Lal Chand today chaired a quarterly review meeting to assess the progress of works being executed under District Capex, Area Development Plan, PRI, DDC, BDC and ABDP components for the year 2025–26 along with other ongoing developmental works in the district.
The meeting was attended by DDC Vice Chairperson Juhi Manhas Pathania; Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore (Chief Executive, Officer DDC); DDC members, Chief Planning Officer Assistant Commissioner Development and other district officers.
At the outset, the Additional District Development Commissioner delivered the welcome address, while the Assistant Commissioner Development presented a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation highlighting the sector-wise and block-wise developmental works executed during the year.
The presentation detailed the physical and financial achievements and overall progress under the Area Development Plan 2025–26 in District Udhampur.
While reviewing the progress, the DDC Chairman emphasized the need to expedite the completion of targets and ensure 100 percent utilization of allocated funds.
He stressed transparency, accountability and strict adherence to timelines in the execution of works. Urging officers to work with dedication and commitment, he issued necessary directions to complete all ongoing works within the stipulated time-frame and without compromising on quality.
The DDC Chairman and Vice Chairperson expressed their appreciation to the Deputy Commissioner and all line departments for their cooperation and effective implementation of various government schemes and developmental projects in the district.
