JAMMU, Dec 19: Terming the Shakti Sathals of Kashmir a source of inspiration, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants, Dr Arvind Karwani today said while visiting these Shakti Sathls one feels lot of divine vibration there.
The RRC who was the chief guest while releasing the annual darmic calendar of 27 Shakti Sathals of Kashmir jointly published by Radio Sharda and Vijeshwar Jyotshi Karyalya at Press Club here, today said though we have constructed replicas of these Shakti Sathals other places but the divine vibration is at the original place.
Dr Karwani acclaimed the initiative taken by Ramesh Hangloo the founder Director of Radio Sharda and Jyotshi Avtar Krishan Shastri in this regard. He said these Shakti Sathals are not only a matter of faith for the Kashmiri Pandits but all those people who believe in Sanatan Dharma.
Stressing the need of keeping tradition alive and enriching culture, he said it is the duty of all of us to link the next generation to their roots an imbibe the spirit of dharma in them.
On the occasion, Swami Kumar Ji threw light on the teachings of Bhagwat Geeta saying that people following the path of dharma get rid of all worldly bondages and attains salvation.
Prof P N Trisal highlighted the significance of the Jyantri (almanac) in Sanatan Dharma and hoped that in future there will be no confusion regarding dates and time of festivals.
Avatar Jyotshi of Vijeshwar Karyalya who is publishing the annual dharmic calendar for last eight years in the name of Krishna Jyotshi said all the differences among the Jyotshi dynasties of Kashmir regarding festivals time and date have been resolved and there will be no confusion in future.
Ramesh Hangloo founder of Radio Sharda highlighted the role of radio Sharda in keeping Kashmiri language alive among the displaced Pandits across globe and termed it a great contribution of Radio Sharda.
On the occasion, Ashok Ji Raina, Bharti Zaroo, Kamal Ganjoo, Ranjan Jyotshi, Kuldeep Raina, Kiran Pandita, Anil Chingari, Rohini Jyotshi and Ravi Jogi were honoured by chief guest and other dignitaries for their performance in their respective fields.
