UDHAMPUR, Dec 16: Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat today addressed Probationary Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) and Probationary Sub-Inspectors (SIs) at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA), Udhampur.
During the interaction, the DGP reviewed the progress of their training and stressed the importance of Field Craft and Tactics, describing them as vital for effective policing and operational readiness, especially in the current security environment.
He urged the probationary officers to focus on rigorous training, physical fitness, situational awareness and disciplined leadership at the grassroots level.
Emphasizing professionalism, he advised them to master tactical drills and uphold the core values of integrity, courage and dedication to public service.
ADGP Garib Dass, IGP Jammu Bhimsen Tuti, Deputy Director SKPA Udhampur Rajinder Kumar Gupta and SSP Benam Tosh were also present on the occasion.
The DGP concluded by advising the probationers to make the best use of their training period and continuously upgrade their skills to effectively meet emerging challenges.
