JAMMU, Dec 11: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against increasing traffic problems in the city.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple, who demanded construction of exclusive ring road and start of metro train services from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur-Bantalab upto Akhnoor.
He said that these protests will be intensified against the traffic problems.
The MSJK leader claimed that during VIP movement traffic is stopped for a long time which creates traffic jams at many places in the city.
He alleged that Traffic Department remains busy in e-Challans and the Government only collects revenue but does nothing for the improvement of traffic system in the city.
Dimple also claimed that Jammu city roads are in bad shape and need immediate blacktopping.
Bharat Bhushan Bhat, Sameer Gupta, Ashok Kumar, Narender Sharma, Bilu Pahlwan, Kala Singh, Vijay Virdi, Deepak and many others were also present in the protest.
