JAMMU, Dec 7: To commemorate the 69th death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar, a mega multispecialty medical camp organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha (AJKSGRDS) was held here today.
The camp was held in collaboration with Divya International Foundation J&K and the Devinder Kour Charitable Trust, offering free medical services, essential tests and medicines to the public.
A team of experienced doctors from Government Medical Colleges (GMCs), AIIMS and multiple specialties, including Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Pediatrics and Dentistry, provided expert consultations.
Chief Guest Amit Bhasin, SSP Traffic lauded the initiative, emphasizing its importance in serving the needy and strengthening community welfare.
KVIC Director Rajesh Kumar also appreciated the organizers, noting that the camp benefited more than 400 patients.
The camp was supervised by Prof (Dr) Sanjay Kumar Bhasin, with medical support from Dr Ashwani Thappa, Dr Bias Dev, Dr Anuradha, Dr Ravi Bharti, Dr Deepak Bhagat, Dr Manish Atri, Dr Ankush Banotra, Dr Abhimanyu Kainth and Dr Anil Thapa.
Several prominent personalities including C L Banal, Prof G L Thapa, Prof C L Shivgotra, Joginder Pal, T C Bavouria and Surjeet Heer were present during the camp.
The event served as a meaningful platform combining healthcare, social responsibility, and community service.
