More chaos for IndiGo as 7 flights nixed in J&K

SRINAGAR/JAMMU, Dec 7: Flight operations across Jammu and Kashmir remained affected today as several IndiGo flights were cancelled or delayed, prolonging disruptions.
According to airport officials, a total of 38 flight movements – 19 arrivals and 19 departures – were scheduled at Srinagar International Airport by 9 AM. IndiGo alone accounted for 20 of these, with 10 arrivals and 10 departures planned.

However, the airline cancelled four flights, comprising two arrivals and two departures, while two other flights – one in each direction – were delayed due to operational issues. No cancellations were reported by any other carrier operating at the Srinagar airport.
At Jammu Airport, the situation was similar though on a smaller scale. Of the 11 scheduled flights for the day, three IndiGo operations were cancelled. Officials said two of these were bound for Delhi, while the third was scheduled on the Jammu-Srinagar sector.
Airport authorities in both Jammu and Srinagar urged passengers to stay in regular touch with their respective airlines for real-time updates on departures and arrivals, as schedules were subject to further changes depending on operational conditions.
