DODA, Dec 6: Police here today solved a gun theft case and recovered the stolen 12-bore rifle.
Sources said that on December 3, 2025, a theft case under FIR No. 116/2025 was registered under Sections 305/331(3) BNS at Police Station Gandoh and investigation was started.
During investigation, one Mahafuz Ahmed, son of Zaker Hussain Mir, resident of Soti Dudwar was detained and on his disclosure, the stolen gun was recovered.
Meanwhile, another juvenile involved in the case has been identified and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board and sent to remand home for 30 days. Further investigation in the case was underway.
