JAMMU, Dec 4: The All J&K Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha (SGRDS) is set to organize a mega Multispecialty Medical camp along with a General Body Meeting (GBM) on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Addressing a well-attended press conference, convener of the Adhoc Committee, RC Bhasin, along with executive members and prominent Biradari representatives, announced that the event will be held at the Krishna Nagar Gurudwara premises as a tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary.
The Medical Camp is being organized in collaboration with Divya International Foundation J&K and the Devinder Kour Charitable Trust. Both organizations will provide teams of doctors, essential medicines, and facilities for conducting basic diagnostic tests for needy patients.
A highly qualified panel of doctors from GMCs, AIIMS, and Health Services-including Surgeons, Gynaecologists, Orthopaedicians, ENT specialists, eye and skin specialists, Paediatricians, and dentists-will offer their services during the camp.
All medicines and tests will be offered free of cost, along with eye examinations. Spectacles will be prescribed wherever required, and referrals to GMCs/AIIMS will be facilitated for patients needing advanced care.
The Adhoc Committee of the Sabha, working with dedication over the past year, has taken significant steps to uplift community welfare, including revamping the Gurudwara premises, starting daily Kirtan, and initiating monthly Satsangs.
During the press conference, an appeal was made to the general public to avail themselves of the benefits of the free medical camp.
The Sabha also announced that a General Body Meeting will be held to finalize the modalities of the upcoming grand Shoba Yatra and the celebration of Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji Maharaj. The Shoba Yatra is scheduled for January 28, 2026, while Parkash Utsav celebrations will be held on February 1, 2026. The headquarters Sabha expects wholehearted support from all branches, satsang societies, Sikanderpur Trust, and the entire Biradari.
Prominent members present included Prof GL Thapa, Prof CL Shivgotra, TC Bavouria, Surjeet Heer, Kuldeep Fouji, Tarsem Loach, Sham Kalsi, MR Bangotra, Paras Ram, Joginder Pal and Des Raj.
