RAJOURI, Dec 4: Cops from Police Station Nowshera led by SHO Nowshera, Inspector Arjun Magotra today booked a house owner for violation of tenant verification.
From reliable sources Police Station Nowshera received information that Mohd. Rafiq, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Ward No. 3, Nowshera rented-out a room to three persons belonging to Kashmir without conducting the mandatory tenant verification with the Police Station thereby violating the standing orders issued by the District Magistrate, Rajouri.
Accordingly, a case in FIR No. 183/2025 U/S 223 BNS was registered at Police Station Nowshera.
Police has appealed to the general public to strictly adhere to the tenant verification guidelines issued by the District Magistrate and any non-compliance will invite strict legal action under relevant provisions of law.
