JAMMU, Dec 4: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Graduate Officers Association (JKAGOA), led by Surinder Radotra, its president, met the Chief Secretary, J&K Government, Atal Dulloo and the Financial Commissioner/ Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department, Shailendra Kumar at the Civil Secretariat, here today.
The delegation apprised the senior officials of the long-pending and core issues concerning Agriculture Graduates, including- finalization and publication of the final seniority list of AEAs, regularization of Incharge Junior Extension Agriculture Officers with retrospective effect from 2017, along with due promotions as per the recommendations and minutes of the committee meeting.
The Chief Secretary patiently heard the delegation and forwarded the representation to the Financial Commissioner /Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department, for examination and early appropriate action.
Subsequently, the delegation also met the Financial Commissioner (ACS), who gave a patient hearing and assured early redressal of all grievances related to the AEA cadre.
Present on the occasion were- Prakashvir Singh, Anil Kumar, Vinod Kumar Sharma, CJ Singh, Amit Gupta and others.
