Workshop on “Online Portal for processing of Recruitment Rules of J&K” organised

JAMMU, Dec 4: A workshop-cum-training on online portal for processing of Recruitment Rules of J&K, organized by the ARI & Trainings Department was held here today.
The initiative was taken under the directions issued by the Chief Secretary, J&K, Atal Duloo, to ensure HR issues are addressed and existing process of finalising Recruitment Rules is streamlined in the UT, in a time bound manner.
Shantmanu, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Higher Education Department was the chief guest of the event and Anil Kumar Singh, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), PW(R&B) Department was the guest of honour.
In her welcome address, Shabnam Kamili, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, ARI and Trainings Department, acknowledged the fact that the Recruitment Rules are the foundation of government service management, determining eligibility, promotion norms and service structure for various posts.
She extended her gratitude to the chief guest and other dignitaries for attending this important Workshop.
The chief guest, Shantmanu, while speaking on the issue, acknowledged the efforts of the ARI & Trainings Department and said that this initiative marks a significant step toward modernizing governance.
The Online Potal System for Recruitment Rules will not only save time but also bring clarity, accountability, and consistency in government recruitment process.
Anil Kumar Singh in his address apprised the gathering that this new system is expected to cut approval time by over 75% and every stage of the process shall be digitally traceable and also supports the Government’s Digital India initiative.
He lauded the efforts of the Department.
The BISAG-N has imparted training to the designated Nodal Officers followed by the Question Answer session as an important part of the Workshop.
While concluding the proceedings, Dr Tassaduq Hussain Mir, Special Secretary said that Government is committed to make public administration simpler, faster and more transparent.
“This reform is another step in the ongoing efforts to strengthen good governance and service delivery mechanisms,” he added.
Thereafter, mementoes were distributed among the officers contributed to the cause, among them was Dr Tassaduq Hussain Mir, Special Secretary to the Government, ARI & Trainings, Shahid Majeed Kakroo, FA/CAO, ARI & Trainings, Dr Mohammed Arshad Jan, Under Secretary, Dr Raman Jandyal, Under Secretary, Ajaz Ahmad Akhoon, general manager, Government Press, Srinagar, Parshotam Sharma, general manager, Ranbir Press Jammu and representatives of BISAG-N.
The workshop was also attended by the Administrative Secretaries and senior officers of various Departments.
