JAMMU, Nov 27: A police-public meeting was organized by Police Station Janipur today.
During the meeting, a platform was provided to the complainants to present their grievances for their timely redressal.
As per a statement, SP City North, Vivek Shekhar personally listened to the grievances of the public and ensured that most of them were redressed on the spot.
It said SDPO City West, Dr Satish Bhardwaj, also joined the programme, monitored the grievance disposal process, and raised awareness on vehicle parking and tenant verification.
The event witnessed active public participation and concluded peacefully.
Complainants expressed gratitude for the responsive approach of the officers and requested regular such programmes for direct accessibility and timely resolution of public issues.
SHO Janipur, Inspector Vikram Sharma conducted the proceedings.
