JAMMU, Nov 25: The Public Works (Road and Building) Department today placed 7 incharge Executive Engineers (Xens) as incharge Superintending Engineers (SEs) after they attained the eligibility to hold the current rank.

Among those incharge Xens who have been deemed to have been placed as incharge SEs are Kewal Kumar Atri, Romesh Kumar, Tilak Raj, Narinder Kumar, Rajesh Kumar Agastam, Ashwani Kumar and Noor Ali.
Earlier, to fill the vacant but critical posts created on account of the reorganisation of the Public Works (R&B) Department in 2023, they were assigned the look-after charge of the posts of SEs in their own pay and grade for a period of six months or till posts were filled on regular basis, since they didn’t meet the eligibility criteria to hold these posts then.
However, an order issued today, confirmed them as incharge SEs after they attained the desired eligibility to hold their current rank.
