UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: A pedestrian was knocked to death by a speeding motorcycle at Tikri late last evening while the accident also led to serious injuries to both the bike riders.
The deceased was identified as Joginder Singh, age 67 years, son of Durga Das, resident of Tikri. He was hit by speeding motorcycle, resulting into fatal injuries.
According to Police, the victim was taken to PHC Tikri where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to Jammu.
In the accident, motorcyclist and his pillion rider also sustained serious injuries and the duo was also referred to GMC Hospital Jammu. They were identified as Deepak Kumar (23), son of Vidya Raj of Ghordi Ramnagar and Parmod Kumar (19), son of Subesh Chandra, resident of Ghordi Ramnagar.
Their condition was stated to be stable now.
