RAMBAN, Nov 20: Police here today arrested an absconder.
Sources informed that in a major breakthrough cops from Police Station Ramban led by ASI Ravinder Kumar Sharma and SGCT, Shubam Verma arrested Zahir Abass, son of Lal Din resident of Gursai, District Poonch, who was evading arrest since 2019.
Abass was wanted in a case of FIR No. 183/2018 Under Section 379 RPC registered at Police Station Ramban.
A warrant under Section 335 BNSS (512 CrPC) was issued by the Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Ramban for his arrest.
The apprehended absconder will be produced before the Court for further legal proceedings.
