SAMBA, Nov 20: An employee working on a dhaba here died after falling into a drain while going to take a bath in Basantar river today.
According to reports, he died after falling into the drain. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar (44), son of Parmanand, a resident of Chowki Chora, district Jammu. He was working at a dhaba in SIDCO and suffered from epileptic seizures.
On Thursday, while going to the Basantar river to take a bath, he suddenly suffered a seizure and fell into the drain, leading to his death. Bystanders alerted the police, who brought him to the District Hospital, Samba, where a doctor declared him as brought dead.
The police have registered a case and initiated further investigation.
