Training course on anti-corruption investigation begins at SKPA Udhampur

JAMMU, Nov 20: A three-day training course on the investigation of anti-corruption cases began today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur, with 16 Jammu and Kashmir Police officers taking part in the programme.
The inaugural session was presided over by Rajinder Kumar Gupta, SSP and Deputy Director (Indoor/Training), who served as the chief guest.
In his address, Gupta stressed the need to strengthen investigative skills to handle corruption-related offences more effectively.
He underlined the importance of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in policing, especially while dealing with sensitive cases of corruption.
Experts from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) J&K and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) Jammu were invited to interact with the participants and share their field experience and technical knowledge.
The training includes specialised sessions aimed at enhancing the officers’ capabilities in evidence collection, case handling, and investigation techniques.
The course is being coordinated by Inspector Tilak Raj, with ASI Zareena Malik assisting as a member of the faculty.
