31 fresh dengue cases reported

JAMMU, Nov 18: Thirty-one fresh dengue cases were reported across the Jammu and Kashmir taking the total number of infections this year to 3,248.
As many as 280 tests were conducted on November 17. Of the new cases, 22 are males and 9 females, including 3 children and 28 adults. Jammu reported highest 13 cases, raising its total to 1384. Udhampur followed with 9 new cases, taking its cumulative tally to 459. Three cases were reported from Kathua, 2 from Rajouri and 1 case each was reported from Samba, Reasi, Doda and Ramban districts.
So far, 26,980 dengue tests have been conducted this year-slightly lower than that recorded during the same period in 2024, whereas the total infections remain significantly lower than last year’s 6232 cases. Hospital data shows no new admissions today.
