SAMBA, Nov 10: A 22-year-old youth from Chanderkot area of Ramban district was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Bari Brahmana area here today, officials said.
Mohammad Kaleem son of Mohammad Rafiq of Chanderkot, Ramban, was spotted in an unconscious state by some locals near Peer Baba, Bari Brahmna, who informed the police, they said.
Accordingly, a team from Police Station Bari Brahmana reached at the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, officials said.
While the body has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, police have initiated further investigation into the matter.
