HARIDWAR, Nov 10: The School of Business at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UoPES), Uttarakhand today organised its 23rd convocation in which the General Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharya Balkrishan was the chief guest.
On this occasion Acharya Balkrishan was conferred upon the degree of Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) by the UoPES for his remarkable achievements.
Earlier, Balkrishan was warmly welcomed by the top management of UoPES, students and the faculty members.
Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Balkrishan said that devotion and continuity in services is the root cause of their success.
“Under the leadership of revered Swami Ramdev Ji, lakhs of brothers and sisters are working hard to give practical shape to the social works of Patanjali,” he maintained.
Speaking on the occasion UoPES Vice Chancellor (VC), Dr. Ram Sharma said that motivated by the devotion and selfless services of Acharya Balkrishan Ji, several students are progressing in their lives.
“Under the successful leadership of Acharya Balkrishan Ji, today Patanjali model has become a prominent business model in the country,” he maintained.
On this occasion varsity president, Dr. Sunil Roy; Pro-VC, Dr. Jaishankar; Registrar, Prof. Manish Madaan; Director School of Business, Prof Rahul Nanwal; Dean Research, Dr. Ashwani Nangiya; MD, Lalit Aggarwal; academic council and governing body members and students were also present on the occasion expressed gratitude towards Acharya Balkrishan.
