Srinagar, Nov 4: Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, has ordered the streamlining of attendance generation for resident doctors to ensure proper release of their salaries and prevent procedural deviations.
As per directives issued in this regard by the Dean Medical Faculty, all Heads of Departments have been asked to submit the attendance of all residents under their control from the 1st to the last day of each month without any delay.
The directives, which have to be complied with strictly, according to the Dean, have been issued to streamline the process of attendance generation on the online portal and ensure proper release of salary to Senior Residents, DM/M.Ch/Dr.NB/Postgraduate Students, and Junior Residents.
“The HODs shall forward a hard copy of the attendance, duly signed and stamped, to the Accounts Section with a copy to the Academic Section.”
The IT Department has been asked to upload the credentials of all residents on the respective HOD portals to facilitate timely generation of attendance.
In case of inter-departmental rotation, the authorities stated, the HOD of the host department shall forward the attendance of the concerned residents to their parent department for further processing.
“If any Senior Resident, DM/M.Ch/Dr.NB/Postgraduate Student or Junior Resident leaves midway, the concerned department shall immediately inform the IT Section for deletion of his/her name from the online attendance portal.”
The IT Section has been asked to accordingly enable the concerned HOD to remove the name of such individuals from the portal.
“All concerned are requested to adhere to the above directions meticulously to avoid any procedural deviations in future.”
