33 fresh dengue cases reported

JAMMU, Nov 1: Thirty-three fresh dengue cases were reported across the Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total number of infections this year to 2,740.
As many as 282 tests were conducted on October 31. Of the new cases, 20 are males and 13 females, including 6 children and 27 adults. Jammu reported highest 16 cases, raising its total to 1163. Kathua followed with 6 new cases and Udhampur 4, taking their cumulative tally to 742 and 367, respectively. Two cases each were reported from Samba and Doda while as 1 case each was reported from Reasi, Kashmir and other states/UTs.
So far, 23,538 dengue tests have been conducted this year-slightly lower than that recorded during the same period in 2024, whereas the total infections remain significantly lower than last year’s 4,983 cases.
Hospital data shows no new admissions today while as three patients are still under treatment in various hospitals.
