SRINAGAR, Oct 29: At least four children were injured today after an unexploded stun munition exploded in Tutigund Kulangam area of Handwara in Kupwara district.
An official said that some children were playing in a paddy field and fiddled with spent/ unexploded stun munition resulting in injuries to four children.

All injured children have been shifted to GMC Handwara for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable. They have been identified as Uzair Tahir 14, S/o Tahir Ahmad Bhat, Sajid Rashid,14, S/o Ab Rashid Sofi Hazim Shabir, 12, S/o Shabir Ahmad Beighand Zeyan Tahir, 12, S/o Tahir Ahmad Bhat, all residents of Tutigund Kulangam.
