DODA, Aug 14: Doda police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 64 bottles of English wine from his possession.
According to a police spokesperson, a team of police led by SHO, Police Station, Thathri, during routine traffic checking near Grid Station Thathri intercepted a Swift Car bearing registration No JK06-8009 from Thathri to Doda and during checking recovered 64 bottles of wine from the possession of the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Hushyar Singh, son of Washdev, resident of Budhi Tehsil, Thathri.
The accused was arrested on spot and a Case FIR No 72/2014 u/s 48-A, Excise Act was registered at Police Station Thathri.
