JAMMU, Oct 25: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) president, Subhash Shastri here today demanded the release of 3 per cent DA instalment due from July this year to employees and pensioners.
In a handout Shastri also demanded the merger of 50 per cent DA into basic pay/pension with retrospective effect.
He also demanded regularization of the services of all daily rated workers under SRO 64, reducing pension commutation period from 15 to 12 years and granting an additional increase in pension at the rate of 5, 10 and 15 per cent after the pensioner complete 65, 70 and 75 years of age respectively.
