JAMMU, Oct 25: A review meeting of Old Janipur Civil Society Action Committee was held here today to discuss the issues of the area.
Speakers in the meeting demanded repair and renovation of Community Hall at Mohalla Shant Nagar, Old Janipur.
They also demanded blacktopping of the roads in the area, repair of non-functional street lights, chopping of the branches of trees at JDA Park Shant Nagar which have spread to the streets and sanitation of the area.
Other speakers raised the demand of repair of bathrooms at the JDA Park, appointment of a watchman and a gardener in the Park and installation of CCTV cameras.
They raised concern over the playing of cricket and other games at the park when elders walk there in morning and in evening.
The Civil Society members urged the LG administration and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene and solve the issues of the area.
