SRINAGAR, Oct 24: Police today booked owners of three hotels in Sonamarg-Mount View, Imperial Resort, and Village Walk-for failing to register foreign tourists as required under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
A police spokesperson said FIRs were lodged under Section 8/23(b) after inspections revealed that the hotels did not submit guest details to the Foreigners Registration Office within the mandated period.
Police urged all hoteliers to comply strictly with registration laws to avoid legal consequences.
