JAMMU, Oct 23: One individual was arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor girl child in Sainik Colony area here today.
On the complaint of the mother of the minor girl child, who is actually a resident of Chhattisgarh, and is currently residing in Sainik Colony locality, one Raksh Choudhary of Sector D, Sainik Colony, Jammu, has been arrested, a police official said.
According to him, the accused allegedly confined the mother and the child to commit the crime with the latter on October 22.
While the accused has been booked under POCSO Act, further investigation has been set into the motion, added the police official.
