New Delhi, October 22: The Government of India has approved the premature repatriation of Ranjan Prakash Thakur, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of the 1990 batch, who was serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Delhi.
According to an official memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, the competent authority has approved his repatriation to enable him to avail the benefit of promotion in his parent cadre.
Before his deputation to ONGC, Thakur had served as Principal Secretary to the Jammu and Kashmir Government in the Industries and Commerce Department.
