JAMMU, Oct 17: Dr Rohit Lahori, a renowned Pain and Palliative Care specialist at Government Hospital Gandhinagar (Jammu), has been awarded by the Jammu Society of Anaesthesia, a state chapter of the Indian Society of Anaesthesia.
The award recognizes Dr Lahori’s outstanding work and contributions to the establishment of Pain and Palliative Care services in Jammu and Kashmir.
The award was presented to Dr Rohit Lahori by Dr Daljeet Singh Charak and Dr Gurmeet Singh Reen, former presidents of the Jammu Society of Anaesthesia, at a function held on World Anaesthesia Day.
Dr Lahori’s dedication to providing comprehensive pain and palliative care services has made a significant impact in J&K. Under his leadership, Government Hospital Gandhinagar (Jammu) has become a pioneer in providing these services, and his work has set a benchmark for others to follow.
