JAMMU, Oct 14: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Jammu has busted an inter-state narcotics smuggling network and arrested four persons involved in the illegal trade.
An ANTF official said the action was taken in connection with FIR number 01/2025 registered at the ANTF Police Station.
He said during investigation of the case, the team arrested Kamal Kant of Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh, who was part of the backward supply chain.
In the forward chain, another accused, Ankush Gupta of Talab Tillo, Jammu, was also apprehended, the police official said.
Earlier, two accused-Akshay Dogra of Talab Tillo, Jammu, and Arun Manhas of Pathankot, Punjab-had already been arrested in the same case and are presently in judicial custody.
With these arrests, the ANTF has successfully dismantled both the supply and distribution chains of an inter-State narcotics network.
