JAMMU, Oct 14: The Finance Department of Jammu and Kashmir has directed all Administrative Departments to submit court cases involving financial implications to it at an early stage.
A circular issued in this context stated that many such cases are being sent at a belated stage, leaving the Finance Department with no option but to grant concurrence or release funds without exploring legal remedies.
To avoid such situations, departments have been advised to share all litigation-related documents, including copies of writ petitions, annexures, replies, and court judgments, for proper examination and timely disposal.
