JAMMU, Oct 9: The Jammu & Kashmir Government has re-designated the 1995 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Anil Kumar Singh as the new Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary).
As per an order, the promotion followed his elevation to the Apex Scale (Level-17 in the Pay Matrix), as per an order from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, dated October 3, 2025.
Singh assumed his new responsibilities on the same day.
“Consequent upon promotion of Anil Kumar Singh, IAS, (AGMUT: 1995) to the Apex Scale (Level 17 in the pay matrix), vide order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under endorsement number 14016/24/2024.UTS-I dated October 3, 2025, and his subsequent assumption of charge on October 3, 2025, the officer is hereby designated as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary),” read an order issued by M Raju, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
