JAMMU, Oct 8: An IPS officer hailing from J&K, Rakesh Balwal has been promoted to Super Time Scale of Deputy Inspector General of Police.
He is presently posted in Manipur.

Governor of Manipur has appointed three 2012 batch IPS officers including Rakesh Balwal in Super Time Scale of IPS.
Balwal, a 2012 batch IPS officer has served as SSP Srinagar, during deputation to Jammu and Kashmir.
