JAMMU, Oct 7: Miran Sahib Police have arrested two persons in connection with a sensational attempt-to-murder case.
The accused, Jagandeep Singh alias Rubal (son of Gurdeep Singh, Dinday Kalan) and Vinod Kumar alias Duggar (son of Jagdesh Lal, Nihalpur Simbal), allegedly followed the complainant on a motorcycle on 10 April 2025 and attacked him with intent to kill, even opening fire and causing panic in the area.
Acting swiftly, SHO Police Station Miran Sahib, Inspector Azad Manhas, under the supervision of SDPO R S Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu, launched a prompt investigation. Both accused were apprehended, and during questioning, they confessed to the crime.
Police recovered a Desi Katta (country-made pistol) and a Toka (sharp-edged weapon) used in the attack. Further inquiries into the case are ongoing.
